Stolt Tank Containers has received the prestigious gold rating for Sustainability by EcoVadis, recognising our exceptional environmental, safety, social, ethical, governmental and sustainable procurement practices.
The rating places STC among the top 5% of all companies evaluated by EcoVadis in the past 12 months, and in the top 3% within the supply chain industry. This marks a 12-point improvement in our overall sustainability performance – which was awarded silver status in 2022 – and highlights our commitment to sustainability across all our operations.
Improvements
STC demonstrated improvements across every sustainability category, including a 10-point improvement in the environment, ethics and sustainable procurement categories. We achieved a 20-point increase in Labor and Human Rights, recognising the strength of our ethical and responsible business practices.
The company's procurement and environmental initiatives also received recognition, underscoring STC's holistic approach to sustainability.
One Tree Planted partnership
To mark our gold rating, EcoVadis will plant a tree on STC's behalf in collaboration with our One Tree Planted partnership. This symbolic gesture aligns with STC's broader environmental goals and commitment to sustainable practices.
